2·2 days agoThe episode that finally convinced my wife to watch the whole thing with me was the one where BoJack goes underwater, but I think that’s not until season 4.
After we restarted from season 1, she was even more into it than I was.
I don’t drink coffee and rarely tea, so you won’t get any argument from me.
My first house was in a town where the hall of records burned down in 1920. Which means that no one still around knows when anything older was actually built, butofficially everything older was built in 1920.

I remember only because at the time they were advertising that the green power ranger would be getting a power upgrade and I said to my older brother that I bet he would become the white power ranger (not being aware of the connotations at the time, nor anything else other than the kid’s show).
He said that wasn’t possible. How would they display the trademark white diamonds, he asked? It still boggles my mind that that was his only reasoning.
Does Agent Venom count? I’ve only read a little about the character, but enjoyed what I saw.
In - I think - the first issue, he ends up carrying an armed grenade in his mouth for most of it; I remember there being some pretty funny quips about it.
Spoon or not, I’m told this is a sin.
Perhaps including silver purifies the act.
There are many stories about Daniel Radcliffe being confused for Elijah Wood and vice versa; this one is pretty good:
Radcliffe also shared a funny story about an occasion where he was mistaken for Wood, but because of a language barrier, he signed an autograph anyway–with the words, “I am not Elijah Wood.”
“I was once on a red carpet in Japan and a photo of you [Wood] was thrust at me. My first instinct was to say, ‘Oh, I’m not … So I can’t …’ but I thought the language barrier would be too much,” Radcliffe said. “So the quickest way to deal with it was just to write, ‘I am not Elijah Wood, [signed] Daniel Radcliffe,’ and then hope somebody translated that for him later.”
In Ross’ video, IIRC, he said 110% was good, 120% was pretty safe, and 140% was very safe.

This is a very reasonable rule, but unfortunately I think it also impacts the metrics they use to make these decisions.

2·5 days agoThat’s very kind of you, but I hesitate to take the word of the noteless and I can’t just take you at your word that you are bereft of hinges.
It’s too bad I don’t have a note about you, because I feel like that would make this more contentious but probably interesting.
If I were going to make one about you, and you were as honest as you think you can be, what do you think it would say? I haven’t looked at your post history and I don’t remember your username from elsewhere (sorry), so I’m genuinely curious how you’ll choose to represent yourself.
I can’t comment on your particular client, but I suspect most of them should support it in some form.
It looks like Thunder is available for Android and iOS. I dont really use it but I do have it installed, so I took a look. It has a “user label” function that looks pretty similar and is added through the same basic process.
Note that I am very much not an expert on Lemmy and even less so on anything Apple, but I bet a way can be found! And if not you always have the option of submitting a feature request to the developer of whatever app you do use.
