Same to you! You’re one of the names I recognize on sight!
Same to you! You’re one of the names I recognize on sight!
Director’s cut WAS a good movie, Alien Cubed is a masterpiece and MUCH better than Aliens
Before, it used to be that there was some kind of balance between the US’s willingness to serve the interests of the politically important (but morally repugnant) Gulf States and its willingness to serve the interests of the politically important (but morally repugnant) Israeli state.
Now there’s nothing. Forget the self-defeating nature of such realpolitik, we live in an even more self-defeating era of absurdpolitik now.
(or whatever the appropriately German word for that would be)
Jesus fucking Christ. What a cretin Seinfeld is.
Based Inigo Montoyo, at least.
In a July 2025 New York Times interview with his wife Grody, Patinkin was critical of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s policies during the Gaza War, arguing that his actions are “endangering the Jewish population all over the world” and that “to watch what is happening, for the Jewish people to allow this to happen to children and civilians of all ages in Gaza, for whatever reason, is unconscionable and unthinkable.”[64][65][66]
Me, meaning: “You’re one of my closest and dearest friends. I don’t know what I’d do without you. I’m deeply grateful for your presence in my life.”
Me, saying: “Cool.”
I’ve had long conversations with my meatspace friends about this, and I do the same thing with them. I prefer subtle implication, to the point of near-invisibility, because it feels more ‘sincere’ than explicit statements. But such subtle implication is often missed even by people who’ve known me my entire adult life and are receiving my interactions in meatspace, where subtlety is more apparent.
IT JUST FEELS SO MUCH MORE NATURAL TO NOT SAY IT AND HOPE PEOPLE PICK UP ON IT ANYWAY
Why are you making light of these human rights violations? This is horrible and no one should be oppressed like this.
Yes, that’s the point of the sardonic statement.
Stop injecting your hate into every situation.
???
Don’t worry, it’s the PEOPLE’S anti-imperialist oppression
A snowball’s chance in hell of the GOP’s fascist bootlickers letting this pass - or enforcing it on the off-chance it does come to pass - but it’s good that Rep. Omar is bringing this up.
Not even then.
“This isn’t a gentle war. We took the gloves off from the first minute. Sadly not earlier,” Halevi said, suggesting the Israel should have taken a tougher line in Gaza before the 7 October attack.
And he’s bragging about it and suggesting it should’ve been even sooner. Jesus Christ.
NCD is leaking?
Maybe. But I’ve watched much better people than him, who did far less to deserve it, die.
That one of the biggest cheerleaders of fascism here in the States, in both advocating for genocide here and abroad, got iced is basically celebratory. Insofar as it’s one less Nazi in the world, not so much that it’ll do anything worthwhile beyond that.
I watched it. Felt nothing.
I’ve been hyper-aware of the possibility of a school shooting since I was in grade school. I’ve watched Palestinians be murdered for over ten years. I’ve watched poor young Russian idiots and Ukrainian soldiers blown apart for the past three years. And I just saw one of the biggest cheerleaders of all that in the States killed.
“Sick reality” has nothing on it. A piece of shit who advocated for and contributed to the shittiest of shitty policy in the US, which has led to the deaths of numerous other people, was killed, and by one of the shitty policies he himself advocated (political violence or gun proliferation, as you prefer).
This isn’t even getting into the ‘less’ severe domestic dangers he was part of pushing forward - the concentration camps for immigrants, the rampant dehumanization of LGBTQ folk, the stripping of medical assistance to the filthy poors who are too sick to be worth keeping alive.
Fuck him.
At least one.
Yep. Several times. Felt nothing.
Because it’s a stupid idea, typically of the Orange’s dribble?
