Is it an error if you don’t care or do it on purpose? As usual the media is carrying Trump’s treasonous water.

Exactly. If I run over someone going 100 MPH and blasting through traffic lights, it isn’t an error; its a callous disregard for the safety and rights of others for my own agenda.

The media seems so confused, when it’s so simple. People are being disappeared.

One of the cases – was it Mahmoud Khalil? – where they took issue with someone wearing a hoodie and disappeared them, I saw news sites saying, “This just isn’t how we do things in this country! He deserves due process and a fair trial!”

So… you think putting someone on trial for wearing a hoodie is any less insane? Feels like you’ve sort of missed the point, BUT OKAY 👍

“Upon further investigation … ICE was unable to identify an officer or officers who asked O.C.G. if he feared a return to Mexico,” said Brian Ortega, assistant field office director for ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations, in a sworn statement to the federal judge overseeing the lawsuit.

That should say “future former assistant field office director”, because he effectively quit his job when he made the decision not to perjure himself in defense of the Administration, even if he hasn’t been formally notified yet.

Why does this question about if he fears a return to Mexico seem to be so important? Genuinely curious. Does it influence a potential asylum claim or something?

I believe it does. A credible fear for your life should enable you an asylum claim in normal times.
