It could probably be worth it to keep an active eye on your data even if it remains roughly the same. To keep an established base line, to keep an eye out for changes in environment in specific areas, to monitor the effects of aging, to sell you shit when your eye gets damaged. Probably other evil shit too, or just the paranoid urge to surveil people for no damn reason.

A plateauing population is a good thing! Growth is not a good thing! I don’t get how people don’t understand this. If something is going up forever it will eventually collapse spectacularly, if it’s stable instead it’ll stay stable.

It’s insane to me the reaction people have to making our species better. Sure it might not be feasibly in reach yet and i wouldn’t trust our systems to handle this as they are, but humans are fundamentally broken. Evolution is a terrible system that does not produce the best outcomes, we can (eventually) do better and we absolutely should.

Unfortunately for them that ship has sailed. It’s not hard to get in on a scam like this of you do it early enough, i probably would have done it if i had enough money when this started (don’t judge, much, money is important when you don’t have it) and i probably would have gotten out like a bandit. I genuinely don’t know how america can recover. the systems of our government are going to be permanently compromised or devastated, half of our politicians have gone from corrupt to openly despotic and the other half do nothing, and our president is n out right traitor.

No, it’s worse than that. It’s impossible to meet the standards set in this and other bills of it’s type without having a shortlist of curated, controlled people creating online content. That’s literally the point, keeping people from interesting with information they deem unsavory.
