And the right wing misinformation machine is operating at its peak. They are getting news agencies to change the way they cover stories to be more in line with what the Trumpists are pushing. They are punishing dissent inside the government and in any group that deals with the government. They are pressuring social media sites to increasingly moderate progressive comments. There is an overall atmosphere that is increasing in the country l where it’s acceptable to censor free speech. Either you get in line with the Trump administration, or you become a target.

Just heard an interview on BBC radio this morning with an American explaining that there are avenues for Trump to do this by abusing the line of succession. It sounds like they want to appoint him as Speaker of the House and then have the president and vice president abdicate.
