Lol yea, I was wondering if anyone was going to catch that, but at least then it was usually a “Why didn’t you just install it‽” rather than a 6 hour marathon of patches and drivers compiled from source or some shit LMAO
Dell surprisingly lmao

cm0002@piefed.worldto World News@quokk.au•Foreigners caught vaping in Singapore may be deported, banned from re-entryEnglish12·6 days agoStuff is gross
Not really, when I vaped, you could not tell if I had just taken a puff in a room 10 minutes after. You can tell a cig had been lit up in a room for HOURS if not days
This also tells me you’ve never been in a smoker’s home or seen the inside of an electronic device that had been. That’s gross.
terrible for people’s lungs.
Not really, every study on it I’ve ever read that said it was “horrible” used unrealistic conditions to get there. Like setting their “vape rig” to 1000°. No one is sitting their vapes to 1000°. Most don’t even go over like 200
I could take a huge hit on my vape and go for a 1.5 mile run easy. Ask a smoker if they could do that.
(Note: I quit because of upkeep reasons, not health)
Now if you want to talk about something about vaping that IS disgusting and wrong, let’s talk about how the big cig manufacturers moved in to the industry and dominated with their shitty environmental disasters that are disposable vapes. Those need to go burn in hell (a long with the companies).
Back when this all started it was full of nearly fully reusable and rebuild-able tanks and mods

On mine, which is a Samsung (so if any brand was going to poorly design it, it’d be them lmao) I have had no issues simmering

Similarly, I was kinda skeptical, but in my mind I reasoned it can’t be possibly worse than the shit electric one I had at the time and I’m not going to pay to have a gas line installed sooo I went with it.
It’s the best fucking stove I’ve ever cooked on in my life. By a LONG shot.
I can watch a pot of water boil
Oil is up to temp faster than you can turn around and grab your meat and seasonings
Almost-magic fast temp adjustmentsThe best part? You know those black burned on crud spots(that are most prevalent on glass tops) that you have to scrape off? Non existent. Idk if its unique to Samsung, but it’s surface is fucking dead easy to clean, it never got the burned on crap after a year when I’ve had new stoves in the past develop it in a matter of weeks
It’s a matter of Consumer vs Corporate
In the consumer space, HP is the worst. In the corporate world, Xerox is the worst (iirc Xerox doesn’t even make consumer grade printers)
Poked around in the GitHub, looks like federation is still being worked on
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ We don’t have a universal Threadiverse logo, though we really should lol
If potential users see this id rather them associate with “PieFed” and “Threadiverse” rather than “Lemmy” and “Lemmy-verse” due to the issues with the Lemmy devs.
Use yea, there’s both Android and iOS apps now and registration is wide open afaik.
Use with a polished experience… no lol

Not for DDR3 lol
For 32GB (4x8gb) DDR3, even good, fast (for 3 anyways) and matched sticks you should not be paying more than like 40 bucks. 60 is a rip off

It has in some ways, it’s awfully convenient that features that would harm their ability to spread their ideology get neutered or not developed fully. Like making the modlog less useful, neutering the vote system (Lemmy used to have a more robust voting system, until they noticed that it could be used against them) or still not having a proper blocking system in place after 4 years
There’s also the “soft” issues, instance admins not wanting to take the step of defederating with .ml when they do so with grad and hex because they depend on support from dessalines and they fear he would be petty and cut off support with them if they dared to do so (which prob would)
So, .ml is trying to form a schism is what you’re saying lmao
