I get that their main goal is keeping the proles down, but you’d think there’d be some protection of american hegemony and soft power, it has made a small group of people a lot of money and given them outsized influence of the world.
I use notepad++ like most sensible people so I didn’t even know this was a thing until I read this article and even then, you have to click the button to get the pop up. It definitely should be opt in and not just sitting there, but if you’re just trying to write a quick note it’s not just popping up and stopping you.
But it is though, it’s for a feature that you don’t need and can just turn off and never see again…
Story yes, game no.
The only reason I completed it was because I wanted to see the end, but by the end I hated the game so much I can’t play the entire genre anymore without almost physical pain… The mechanics of random battle and grind cause my spirit to flag and my will to drain, now no matter how good the story of the game is I just can’t.
