Funny, I go the opposite route. If a company does something to bother me enough, I will easily forego whatever experience they are providing. There is no lack of meaningful entertainment in this world, why further encourage shittiness when I can just enjoy something else? I do the same with prices. Too expensive? Fuck it, guess I don’t do that anymore. Here’s looking at you Phish; nothing against the band and understand their pricing, but I am not paying over $100 (especially now back w ticketmaster no less) for a concert. It doesn’t bother me if others do, it just becomes ‘not for me.’ Like everything, to each their own though.
Two of those (Heard and Mcdonald islands) on the list are uninhabited. Wild indeed.
Yeah, I remember when this originally went down seeing something about how if they used that write-off it meant that the film could never be distributed afterwards. The way things are now I wouldn’t be surprised if they sold it and kept the write-off anyways since that was a different fiscal year.
Going to have recalls when they find out the wings are just glued on.
Haha, hell yeah. Saw your reply at the same time op responded to my message and misinterpreted. Agreed.
And my point is that the example you used does not make the point you are trying to make, but rather the opposite. I get what you’re saying, it just doesn’t apply to farmers and mechanics.
No, but if a farmer’s tractor is overheating (as in the gard drive conparison), I’m sure they could diagnose it.
I’m not sure how well that analogy holds up. Farmers are usually pretty well versed in mechanical systems. To the point that now that John Deere has been screwing them over on right to repair that some farmers are even becoming versed in computer programming so they can flash the firmware on their tractors.
While we’re pointing things out, this is also a non-islander owning 32 acres of land on the big island. Cool that a rich guy is going green though I guess.
