Watch the film and tell me that Mark Ruffalo’s character isn’t meant to be Trump, his followers aren’t meant to be MAGA cultists, and the explicit plot point of him losing two presidential elections isn’t a reference to him losing to the Dems a second time.

So what if it was written before trump announced he was rerunning, most people could see where the tide was turning, and the movie pulls no punches in it’s satire of him.

I honestly found this movie so boring that I went for a walk around the mall for a bit, half way through. The mall was mostly closed, so if two of my friends weren’t still watching the film I would have gone home.

I grudgingly returned to the cinema and watched the incredibly boring conclusion.

And as someone else pointed out, it really was made with the intent to be a victory lap at trumps assumed failure at a second presidency, so that not actually being the case hangs over the movie rather embarassingly.

I got my close friend to move, but ultimately they don’t care. I’m amazed that some of them still use x, whilst complaining about all the shit that Elon does.

Probably not. Let’s not pretend that European leaders aren’t fantasizing about doing some of the stuff trump is doing. They only care about trans people in this context because it allows them to point at the US and say, aren’t you glad you aren’t over there, now give us all your money so we can buy missiles and tanks

I wanted to but it’s an expensive hobby and I was way too into drinking and drugs as a young adult to spend my time doing anything fun or constructive.

I did the RAF cadets at school. I thoroughly enjoyed it at the time. Got to do a lot of fun activities and wracked up about 20 hours of flying time. Even got to land a grob tutor one time.

But yeah, it was also a tool of indoctrination, so fuck that

JavaScript doesn’t suck and it’s performance is more than adequate for most applications. If you are doing some serious number crunching you might want to look at web assembly, but last time I checked it doesn’t actually have access to the DOM so it’s not really got any control over the page itself.

JavaScript is great. Typescript is better. Give JavaScript a go and if you want more safety try typescript.

I personally use the Vue framework for my web apps but there are many others out there, and if you really want to keep things clean you can opt out of using Frameworks altogether.

Anyway, you are never going to be able to completely avoid JavaScript no matter what approach you take, so if suggest learning some and making up your own mind
