Where does it exactly say “we’re going to solve corruption in 6 months”?

It’s called “interim” for a reason. The protest were against corruption. Nobody is expecting anyone to solve it in 6 months or a year or whatever timeframe. It’s a path forward, not a deadline.

Sushila Karki said the government must heed protesters’ demands for “an end to corruption, good governance and economic equality”.

I think there’s a misunderstanding. She said “the government”, not just her interim government.

“The government, moving forward, should keep corruption in check as one of their main goal.”

Again, those were the demands by the protestors for the government, not just this government.

They obviously can’t end it, but the gist is to minimize it by strengthening laws and enforcing them.

That’s my interpretation of it. You’re free to keep your own.
