A senior aide to President Vladimir Putin has rejected any temporary cease-fire with Ukraine just hours before a US delegation was expected to land in Russia for talks with Moscow where they will urge the Kremlin to agree to a 30-day cease-fire proposal or face sanctions.

When the news first broke, I assumed Russua was behind the ceasefire and had already pulled Trumps strings to their advantage.

Now I’m wondering if this administration might be too incompetent to be corrupt.

Of course they’re incompetent. Trump is a Russian asset in that he has a Dollarstore intellect and is easy to manipulate. No bribes necessary.

Until his feelings got hurt by the negative reactions and people liking Zelensky better. Then suddenly he was less Russia minded. What a world we live in.

That’s pretty much it. You shouldn’t be berating him for supporting Russia so much as you should be cheerleading him supporting Ukraine.

That was my thought, too, but yeah. Occam’s Razor, our government is just run by really stupid people.
