I am a big fan of Fargo and the various Alien movies, but I can’t get rid of the feeling that Alien: Earth is going to be shallow and unoriginal.

Prometheus was mediocre. I thought the overall concept was cool and the cinematography was great, the screenplay was not good.
The Chaos fanedit of Prometheus actually works a lot better than the theatrical cut, I would check it out if you ever feel like re-watching Prometheus.
