They are not

Actually hypersonics. They only hit hypersonic speed during their ascent. Not during target acquisition, and descent. The US is only just starting to deploy real hypersonics, and they’re still a bit temperamental, but accurate as long as they make it to the target.

This also applies to the Russian “hypersonic” missiles. They aren’t hypersonics.
