Why are Israelis “hostages” while Palestinians are “prisoners”?
The Palestinians were arrested and are held in a prison.
They’re still political prisoners, which are a kind of hostage, and if any court was involved it wasn’t a fair trial by any measure, but there is a difference.
So the difference is in the kind of holding space?
