I’m thinking to sell my domain Lemmy.org just very recently launched an instance but purchased the domain about a year or so ago for about $20k and willing to sell for about the same price if anyone interested. very similar domain as join-lemmy.org and that where I saw the value :)

    I cannot recommend strongly enough that a well-respected escrow service be used, so nobody gets fucked.

    I speak from experience: I’ve successfully sold a domain for five figures USD before.

    ETA: Though I don’t see how a fediverse-related .org domain might be valued so highly. Online domain appraisers seem to place it at <$100 to <$1,000.
