They’ll get banned eventually for upvoting something on a gaming sub that mentions Luigi’s mansion. Then they’ll be confused for a while and move to the next app
Surprisingly, there are a lot of people who have still never heard of Lemmy on Reddit. I mentioned it in a post about this and got flooded with people asking me what Lemmy is and how to sign up.
I hope lemmy servers are ready for another population boom.

This is true. I do a bit of shepherding myself, and many have never heard of Lemmy. Don’t give up on them!
I got banned yesterday and did not know what Lemmy was until I did a search for Reddit alternatives.
