So you should be in support of the US beginning chip production in order to gain better distribution, got it. As it stands, around 90% of advanced chips (like for AI) are manufactured in Taiwan.

The US is not trying to have a monopoly, they’re trying to ensure that China doesn’t seize control of a dangerous resource on a global scale without any competition or access. Again, your concern should indicate support of US chip production, not counter it. How would the world look if the CCP was the only entity that could use AI?

      Looks at current chip embargoes

My current business needs are worldwide; I need free access for all.

As I get more experience I find blocks in trade and nationalism, in any county, to get in the way of both software development ( my main concern) and hardware ( what my software runs on).

I need people in the Sahel, China, South American countries, EU, USA , other countries ( you get the picture) to have equal access, no matter what their stupid political establishments, filled with dumb fucks, are doing or who they are currently in bed with this month or year or decade. I’m not really trying to play favorites
