As with many of the articles I’ve seen on this topic, this headline is a misrepresentation. Zelensky is willing to resign in exchange for Ukraine joining NATO, specifically. NOT the “give Russia everything it wanted and more” capitulation Trump is demanding. Only NATO.

What all these headlines talking about “bring[ing] peace” while omitting the “joining NATO” part are doing is priming public opinion to turn against Zelensky when he rightfully rejects a “peace” deal that keeps Ukraine isolated and vulnerable to further Russian aggression later.

Joining NATO is the ONLY path to real, lasting peace for Ukraine. Every “offer” short of that is nothing but a bad-faith distraction to give the temporary appearance of peace while Russia regroups and prepares to finish the job.

The important thing is that it needs to be in a human-readable format encoded as unicode text. Beyond that, any reasonable markup (plaintext, markdown, org-mode, HTML, etc.) is fine.

Edit: to be clear, I was only trying to point out that “we’re being deliberate in making memory pricing more reasonable than you might find with other brands” is clearly targeting the Mac Mini, because Apple likes to price-gouge on RAM upgrades. (“Unamused face looking at Apple,” get it? Maybe I emoji’d wrong.) My comment is not meant to be an opinion about the soldered RAM.

I ran out of fucks almost a decade ago, so I use basic-bitch Kubuntu and barely bother to customize it at all. (I turned on dark mode and picked a wallpaper, but that’s about it.)

My self-induced pain point is that I get mildly annoyed about snaps once in a while, but not enough to be worth switching distros.
