16 hours agoIt’s funny to me that they are in a “reddit alternatives” forum, but somehow expect there to be a ready-made Reddit alternative out there with a comparable user base.
As if they’re running a search mission where thousands of users are searching the Internet for a mythical website - an El Dorado - where millions of users have been active for centuries, dancing around and living happily, just outside the field of vision of the Redditors. It’s not a matter of creating a community, it’s merely a matter of discovering it.
Piefed has gained a hundred active users last month! Just 40 more years of this, and we’re bigger than Lemmy at its current size.
