I completely agree and think you can’t arrest everyone but I don’t see that happening though. Look at the numbers on the street. If more people surrounded them so they could not physically leave, it might be different. What I see is a few brave people trying to stop them and not succeeding, and everyone else staying inside or filming from afar
They won. They got exactly what they wanted, plus anybody who tried to intervene got arrested along the way. From the headline I thought it would be more like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZcoXdZeabA . There’s still massive problems here and our version of ICE have got away with a lot but thankfully nowhere near this stage
This has blown my mind, I love it. I never thought there would be differences between countries but it makes sense given we don’t even agree on what sound they make
Oh man, I had no idea. I really appreciate you letting me know
I haven’t got it yet so not sure but good point I’ll need to check! He can handle the switch without removing the sticks. Is it even bigger than that?
You need healthcare for all your life, not just when retiring. Why wouldn’t you want to live and work in the state with healthcare if it actually works out cheaper for you and less risky? It’s a completely false economy to live in the other state with no healthcare but have to pay high insurance rates and have high deductibles?
I don’t even know what these are, what am I missing out on?
Prescriptions are just under £10 and this pill was £25-£30 without one, but you could just turn up at a pharmacy and get one with no fuss
That’s really sad, feel especially bad for the kids who were with her who are going to feel this for the rest of their lives
What about a computer monitor instead?
I really struggled with readarr but maybe because I never used a private tracker as others have mentioned. I’ll give that a try
I had a lot more luck with https://github.com/evan-buss/openbooks but it’s completely manual. I make a note of books I come across and then every few weeks manually search on here and add the downloads to a calibre monitored folder.
Sorry but the UK position is definitely wrong. Our kids get 6 weeks off just in summer, plus 2 each at Xmas and Easter, plus 3 x 1 week during half-terms. It is a challenge to cover these when working full time where the average holiday allowance is 5.6 weeks in total.
Nice idea but very poor execution
